Uzbekistan Increases Exports of Fresh Grapes to 86.2 Thousand Tons
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has significantly expanded its exports of fresh grapes: in the first eight months of 2025, the country exported 86.2 thousand tons of produce worth US$78.3 million, almost 1.6 times higher than in the same period of last year.
According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, exports increased by 33.6 thousand tons, or 64%, compared to January–August 2024.
The main importers of Uzbek grapes were Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, and Ukraine. Russia accounted for 63.4 thousand tons, Kazakhstan received 15.2 thousand tons, Kyrgyzstan 4.5 thousand tons, Belarus 2.8 thousand tons, and Ukraine 101.3 tons.
Other countries collectively imported around 150 tons.
