Uzbekistan increases electricity production by 1.4%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan increased electricity generation by 1.4% in January-September 2019 compared to the same period of 2018.

In the reporting period, according to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the country’s enterprises generated more than 44.8 billion kW/h of electricity.

Also, in January-September, 19.05 million Gcal of heat energy was produced in Uzbekistan, which is 3% less compared to the same period of 2018.
