In the first three months of 2013, Uzbekistan produced 956.3 tonnes of plant protection products, which grew by 67.9% year-on-year.
Uzbek enterprises increased production of phosphate fertilizers (+11.9%) and potash fertilizers (+3.4%)
Chemical enterprises increased output of polyethylene tape (7 times), acetaldehyde (5.6 times), polyurethane foam (2.5 time), phosphorus urea (2.3 times), nitric acid - strong (2.1 times), carbon dioxide (32.3%), rubber footwear (+26.9%), ammonium sulphate (19.3%), pipes and pipe components of thermoplastics (+18.3%), sulfuric acid (16.3%), phosphoric acid extraction (+14.2%), hydrochloric acid (12.9%), carboxymethyl cellulose (12.2%), glycerin, technical grade (11%), soda ash (+9.1%) and paints (+5.3%).
In the reporting period, enterprises of chemical industry exported goods for US$177.2 million. The growth rate made up 33.9% year-on-year.
