Uzbekistan increases automobile production by 60.6% in Jan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan increased production of passenger automobiles by 60.6% in January 2018 compared to the same period in 2017 to 12,170 units, according to the data of the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.

In January, the output of trucks was 177 units, which is 36.1% lower compared to January 2017.

Production of buses in Uzbekistan in January 2018 decreased by 2.5% compared to January 2017 - up to 40 pieces.

Enterprises of Uzbekistan increased the output of automobile engines by 58.2% in the reporting period - up to 9,220.
