Uzbekistan increases apple exports fivefold in January–February 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first two months of 2025, Uzbekistan exported 1,581 tonnes of apples worth US$934,600, according to the National Statistics Committee.
This represents a 5.1-fold increase compared to the same period last year — a growth of 1,272 tonnes.
The main importers of Uzbek apples were CIS countries, with Russia once again leading the way, accounting for 1,020 tonnes of the total volume.
Kazakhstan ranked second with 341.4 tonnes, followed by Turkmenistan (148.6 tonnes) and Mongolia (40 tonnes).
Other countries collectively imported 30.9 tonnes of the fruit.
