Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-November, Uzbekistan imported 455,800 tons of potatoes from 13 foreign countries worth US$53.2 million, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said in a statement.

Import of potatoes in comparison with the corresponding period of last year increased by almost 74,200 tons.

The largest amount of potatoes was purchased in Kazakhstan (150,000 tons), Iran (136,000 tons), Pakistan (128,000 tons), Kyrgyzstan (24,000 tons), the Netherlands (11,000 tons), Russia (4,500 tons) and France (616 tons).
