Uzbekistan imports nearly 7,000 passenger cars in Q1 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to March 2025, Uzbekistan imported 6,950 passenger cars with a total value of US$115.1 million, National Statistics Committee said.

The largest volumes of imports during this period came from the following countries:

China – 5,235 units

Republic of Korea – 1,425 units

India – 144 units

Japan – 77 units

United States – 18 units

Other countries – 51 units

China accounted for more than 75% of all passenger vehicles imported into Uzbekistan during the first quarter, reflecting a sustained trend of growing imports from that country.
