Uzbekistan imports more than 3,500 electric vehicles in January-February

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-February 2024, Uzbekistan imported 3,502 electric vehicles. This was announced by the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan.

The total cost of these vehicles was US$85.7 million.

Compared to January-February 2023, the number of imported electric vehicles increased 4 times or by 2,663 units.

In two months of 2024, electric cars were imported to Uzbekistan from 7 countries.

According to the Statistics Agency, 3,479 electric vehicles were imported from China.

Eight electric vehicles were imported from the United Arab Emirates and 5 from Hong Kong.
