Uzbekistan imports 67,100 tons of bananas

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data from the Agency on Statistics, in January-June 2023, 67,100 tons of bananas worth US$47.4 million were imported into Uzbekistan.

The volume of banana imports increased by 3.7 thousand tons compared to the corresponding period in 2022.

Main banana exporters to Uzbekistan in January-June 2023:

- Ecuador - 66.7 thousand tons

- Türkiye - 200 tons

- Kazakhstan - 142 tons
