Uzbekistan imports 33,378 tons of tea in 2024

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan imported 33,378 tons of tea in 2024, amounting to US$50.6 million, according to the Statistics Agency.

The main supplier countries were China, Kenya, Iran, India, and Russia.

Top Tea Suppliers to Uzbekistan in 2024:

China – 26,806 tons

Kenya – 1,651 tons

Iran – 1,271 tons

India – 965 tons

Russia – 578 tons

Other countries – 2,107 tons

China remained the dominant supplier, accounting for over 80% of total imports, reflecting the strong demand for Chinese tea in Uzbekistan.
