Uzbekistan imports 140,200 tons of bananas in 2022

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-December 2022, Uzbekistan imported 140,200 tons of bananas from abroad in the amount of US$63.4 million, according to preliminary data from the Statistical Agency.

In January-December 2022, banana imports increased by 57.2% (51.0 thousand tons) compared to the corresponding period in 2021.

Ecuador – 138,900 tons

Kazakhstan - 426 tons

Turkmenistan - 345 tons

Turkey - 197 tons

Other countries - 299 tons
