Uzbekistan implements 50 energy sector projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan is currently implementing 50 projects in the energy sector, with a total value of US$31.5 billion. This was announced by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

He noted that recent significant reforms in the country’s energy sector have opened up new opportunities for the private sector.

As a result, private partnership projects worth US$3.5 billion have been launched, and work is actively underway on additional projects totaling US$31.5 billion.
