Uzbekistan implements 11 irrigation projects worth US$187m in 2009

In 2009, the Uzbek government has started the implementation of 11 projects on upgrading and reconstructing facilities of the water industry totalling to US$187.22 million.
There were plans to use foreign loans amounting to US$70.96 million in 2009 to upgrade and reconstruct facilities of the water industry.
