Uzbekistan, ILO to continue cooperation in preventing child and forced labour

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the International Labour Organization (ILO) led by the Director of ILO Regional Bureau for Europe and Central Asia Heinz Koller will visit Uzbekistan in the end of February 2017.

Within the visit of the ILO delegation, Uzbekistan and the ILO are planning to sign a memorandum on prolongotation “Country programme on decent work” for 2017-2020.

According to the Uzbek Labour Ministry, the document will become firm base for further active and constructive cooperation between Uzbekistan and the ILO.

The sides will agree on new additional measures on cooperation on wide range of issues related to labour and protection of labour rights of people.
