Uzbekistan Hosts 368 Companies with Azerbaijani Capital

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of 1 February 2026, Uzbekistan is home to 368 enterprises with capital participation from Azerbaijan, according to the National Committee of Statistics.

Of these companies, 63 operate as joint ventures, while 305 are wholly owned by foreign investors.

The largest share of Azerbaijani investment is concentrated in the trade sector, where 139 companies are active. Industry is represented by 50 enterprises, construction by 43 companies, and the information and communications sector by 25 firms.

A total of 11 enterprises operate in healthcare and social services, while transportation and storage account for nine companies, the same number as in the accommodation and food service segment.

In the agro-industrial complex, including agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, three enterprises are currently operating.

The remaining 79 companies are engaged in a wide range of other economic activities.
