Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On June 12, a joint meeting of the Uzbekistan–Estonia and Uzbekistan–Slovakia commissions on international road transport was held via videoconference.

The discussions focused on the current state of cooperation in the field of international freight transport by road, as well as the promising avenues for its further development. Participants engaged in a constructive exchange of views on simplifying procedures and improving the efficiency of transit transportation.

As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed on the quota for the exchange of transit permit forms for 2025.

In addition, an agreement was reached to conduct supplementary exchanges of permit forms once national carriers exhaust their quotas, ensuring the stability and uninterrupted flow of international road transport between the countries.
