Uzbekistan Grain Production Surpasses 10.1 Million Tons in 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s production of cereal and leguminous crops exceeded 10.1 million tons in 2025, according to the National Statistics Committee. This represents a 13% increase compared to 2024 figures.
The Ferghana region led the nation in output, producing 1,147,009 tons. It was followed by the Samarkand region with 1,016,447 tons and the Kashkadarya region, which recorded 954,617 tons.
Production across other regions was distributed as follows: the Jizzakh region yielded 892,369 tons, Surkhandarya recorded 888,322 tons, and Namangan produced 831,942 tons. Significant harvests were also noted in the Andijan (788,663 tons), Tashkent (769,613 tons), and Bukhara (761,690 tons) regions.
The remaining regional totals included Khorezm at 724,217 tons, Syrdarya at 635,304 tons, and the Republic of Karakalpakstan at 393,256 tons. The Navoi region contributed 308,258 tons to the national aggregate.
The double-digit growth highlights the continued expansion and intensification of Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector as it moves toward enhancing national food security.
