Uzbekistan, Germany to continue cooperation in training of managers

The memorandum of understanding between the Government of Germany and the Government of Uzbekistan was signed last week.

In line with the memorandum of understanding on cooperation in improving qualification of managers for organizations and enterprises of Uzbekistan from 2007, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the German Society of International Cooperation (GIZ) is conducting work on internship of the Uzbek managers in enterprises of Germany.

The programme is aimed at improving skills of managers of Uzbekistan via organization short-term internships at the German enterprises, study of know-hows in management, establishment of direct contacts and economic cooperation.

During the work of the programme, some 756 people applied to it and 368 of them underwent internship in Germany on such directions as machinery, textile industry, construction, agriculture, consulting, logistics, renewable energy, medicine, etc.
