Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan exported approximately 1.6 million tons of wheat flour to five foreign markets in 2025, generating US$441.7 million in revenue, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The export volume represents a significant year-on-year increase of nearly 473,300 tons, marking a 42.3% rise compared to 2024.
Afghanistan remains the dominant consumer of Uzbek flour, accounting for the vast majority of shipments with 1,590,193 tons. Other regional partners also maintained a presence in the export profile, though at significantly lower volumes. Tajikistan imported 607 tons, followed by the Kyrgyz Republic with 356.4 tons and Turkmenistan with 174 tons.
The sharp increase in export figures underscores Uzbekistan’s growing role as a key supplier of processed agricultural products within Central Asia and the neighboring regions.
