Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek law enforcement authorities have extradited a 47-year-old Uzbek citizen, R.N., from Istanbul to Tashkent after she had been on the international wanted list for 12 years on human trafficking charges. The General Consulate of Uzbekistan in Istanbul reported the extradition.

According to the investigation, R.N. was part of an organized criminal group operating outside Uzbekistan and was involved in human trafficking.

Uzbek authorities are urging any victims of R.N.'s criminal activities to come forward and contact either the General Consulate of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, or its regional offices.

To ensure justice, Uzbek and Turkish law enforcement agencies continue to conduct joint operations to identify and apprehend fugitives abroad.
