Uzbekistan expresses concern over situation in Korean Peninsula

Uzbekistan expresses concern over aggravation of situation in the Korean Peninsula in the result of artillery bombardment of Yeonpyeong Island by Noth Korean armed forces, which resulted in destroying of civil objects and human victims.

Denouncing these actions, Uzbekistan called Pyongyang to restrain from undertaking unilateral measures directed at further escalation of tension and solve existing contradictions via diplomatic tools, the agency said.
