Uzbekistan exports US$490 million of gold in January

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan exported US$489.8 million worth of gold in January 2020, according to the data from the State Statistics Committee.

According to the Committee, the growth compared to January 2019 was 60.3%. The share of gold in the export structure of Uzbekistan in January 2020 reached 38.1%.

Note that Uzbekistan has increased gold exports in recent years. Gold exports in 2015 exceeded US$823.9 million, in 2016 - US$738.2 million, in 2017 - US$1.6 billion and in 2018 - US$2.91 billion and in 2019 - US$4.92 billion
