Uzbekistan Exports Nearly 487,000 Tons of Pears Abroad
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, from January to August 2025, Uzbekistan exported 486,600 tons of pears to eight foreign countries, generating a total value of US$554.9 million.
Although the physical volume of exports decreased by 60,700 tons compared to the same period in 2024, the value of shipments rose by 25.2%, reflecting higher product prices.
The main buyers of Uzbek pears were Russia — 251,700 tons, Kazakhstan — 121,800 tons, and Kyrgyzstan — 57,100 tons.
Smaller volumes were supplied to Turkmenistan (31,900 tons), Iran (19,600 tons), Tajikistan (2,900 tons), the UAE (1,000 tons), and Belarus (500 tons).
