Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to November 2025, Uzbekistan exported 14,800 tons of rice to 11 foreign countries, amounting to US$6.4 million, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The main importers of Uzbek rice were Central Asian countries: 8,000 tons were sent to Kazakhstan, 3,400 tons to Tajikistan, and 2,400 tons to the Kyrgyz Republic.
Significant volumes were also exported to the United States — 824.8 tons — and to Afghanistan and Türkiye, with 45.2 tons shipped to each country.
Other shipments totaled 113.5 tons.
The growth in rice exports reflects Uzbekistan’s ongoing efforts to develop the agricultural sector and expand its presence in international food markets.
