Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the first two months of 2022, Uzbekistan exported to 15 foreign countries about 8,000 tons of knitwear worth US$45.6 million. 

The volume of exports of knitted products increased by US$8.4 million compared to the corresponding period of last year, according to the State Statistics Committee.

Countries to which Uzbekistan exported the most knitwear in January-February 2022:

Russia – US$14.5 million

Kyrgyz Republic - US$14.2 million

Italy - US$8.6 million

Ukraine – US$2.8 million

Regions with the largest knitwear exports in the two months of 2022:

Tashkent city - US$19.1 million

Tashkent region - US$9.1 million

Andijan region - US$6.4 million

Bukhara region - US$3 million.
