Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan increased by 2.6 times the export of gold in January-September 2019 compared to the same period of 2018, the data of the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

In January-September 2019, Uzbekistan exported US$3.98 billion worth of gold.

At the same time, the share of gold in the export structure amounted to 23.1%.

Uzbekistan has increased gold exports in recent years. Gold exports in 2015 exceeded US$823.9 million, in 2016 - US$738.2 million, in 2017 - US$1.6 billion and in 2018 - US$2.91 billion.
