Uzbekistan Exported Over 28,000 Tons of Carrots Worth US$5.6 Million
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to May 2025, Uzbekistan exported 28,348 tons of carrots with a total value of US$5.6 million, according to data from the Agency for National Statistics.
The majority of shipments were directed to neighboring countries in the region. The largest importer was the Kyrgyz Republic, which received 14,990 tons of the product.
Kazakhstan followed with 7,197 tons, and Russia ranked third with 5,989 tons.
Smaller shipments were also exported to Ukraine (64 tons), Tajikistan (61 tons), and several other countries (47 tons).
