Uzbekistan exported around 4,300 tons of pomegranates
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to November 2024, Uzbekistan exported 4,280 tons of pomegranates, according to data published by the State Statistics Agency.
The export value for this period amounted to US$4.7 million.
The largest buyer of Uzbek pomegranates was Russia, which imported 2,325 tons.
Tajikistan ranked second with 724 tons, while Kazakhstan took third place with 655 tons.
Additionally, the Kyrgyz Republic purchased 350 tons, and Ukraine imported 106 tons. The remaining 127 tons were exported to other countries during the reporting period.
