Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan is expanding the list of people vaccinated against coronavirus infection. This was stated in the decision of the Special Republican Commission to Combat Coronavirus.
According to the decision of the special commission, now citizens over 50 years old and the teaching staff of higher educational institutions will be able to free the vaccine against COVID-19.
The relevant departments were instructed to carry out explanatory work aimed at preventing the disease, as well as to monitor compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements, including wearing masks in public places and maintaining physical distance.
At the same time, the commission ordered to analyze the state of readiness of medical institutions for the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection in the regions and to form a stock of necessary drugs, taking into account the increase in infection cases in recent days.
