Uzbekistan, EU diplomats discuss ties, EU strategy for Central Asia

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the head of the Delegation of the European Union in Uzbekistan, Ambassador Yuri Sterk on 26 June 2015.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the sides discussed actual issues of relations between Uzbekistan and the European Union.
Ambassador Yuri Sterk informed the Uzbek side on results of consideration of the EU Strategy for Central Asia at the session of the EU Council on foreign affairs on 22 June.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on other issues of mutual interest.
