Uzbekistan establishes temporary and permanent contraindications for vaccination against coronavirus

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By a corresponding order of the Minister of Health, the basic rules that apply in the process of mass vaccination have been revised, and the actions to be taken if the vaccine can cause temporary or permanent medical restrictions.

As you know, the vaccinated population applies to the register of primary health care institutions with an identity document, and undergoes a medical examination by a family doctor, the conclusion of which is recorded in the citizen's medical record.

When vaccinating against Covid-19, first of all, the health of the vaccinated citizen is checked, whether there are obstacles to vaccination, including the presence of an allergic reaction. Vaccination is permitted if there are no contraindications for vaccination.

If there are medical contraindications, then a temporary or permanent medical restriction is imposed on vaccination. Here the question naturally arises as to what this order will be.

Temporary or permanent medical restrictions are established only by a special commission approved by the management of medical institutions. (A sample statement of restriction of medical services provided by the Commission is attached below).

Contraindications for Covid-19 vaccination are established by the family doctor of the primary health care department and sent to a special commission for a conclusion on the restriction.

The interval between vaccinations is from 21 days to 12 weeks in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization and vaccine guidelines.

Schedule of mass vaccinations in Uzbekistan:

1 dose of coronavirus vaccine for several categories or groups of people aged 18 years to September 1, 2021;

2nd dose - before October 1;

Vaccination with 3 doses of vaccine, scheduled until 1 November.
