Uzbekistan, Envision Discuss Nurabad Technopark Project

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 12 March, a meeting took place at the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan between Deputy Minister Ilzat Kasimov and Zhang Xuan, Head of Regional Development in Central Asia at the Chinese company Envision Energy Group.

During the discussions, the parties explored cooperation prospects within the framework of the special industrial zone project, the “Nurabad Technopark,” in the Samarkand region.

Participants reviewed the current status of the project and its implementation, as well as measures aimed at stimulating investment activity and fulfilling the investment obligations outlined in the initiative.

Special attention was given to coordinating the activities of the management company, developing essential engineering and communications infrastructure, and creating a favorable environment to attract both foreign and domestic investors to the industrial zone.

Following the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their interest in further advancing the project, expanding practical cooperation, and strengthening long-term strategic partnership.
