Uzbekistan Discusses Expanding Bilateral Cooperation with Gulf Arab States

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 3 March, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bahromjon Aloev, met with the heads of diplomatic missions of the State of Qatar, the Sultanate of Oman, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the State of Kuwait in Uzbekistan.

During the dialogue, the parties discussed the development of comprehensive relations between Uzbekistan and the Gulf Arab states, as well as opportunities to expand cooperation within the framework of the “Central Asia – Gulf States Cooperation Council.”

Special attention was given to exchanging views on current regional issues, including developments in the Middle East, with a focus on coordinating efforts and strengthening stability in the region. The meeting underscored the participants’ commitment to continue constructive dialogue and deepen strategic engagement.
