Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Uzbekistan visited one of Pakistan’s largest textile factories, Union Fabrics.

The delegation, led by Davron Vakhabov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, toured the company’s production facilities, explored its management processes, and learned about the modern technologies used in Pakistan’s textile industry.

Union Fabrics (Pvt.) Ltd. is a leading Pakistani company specializing in the production and export of high-quality fabrics and home textiles. The company operates five manufacturing plants in the industrial zone of Karachi, with an annual production capacity exceeding 40 million meters of fabric with a density of 60 threads per inch. In 2024, the company’s export volume reached over $700 million.

The delegation also met with leading textile manufacturers, where Davron Vakhabov discussed Uzbekistan’s investment opportunities in the textile industry.

Particular attention was given to creating favorable conditions for foreign investors, state support mechanisms, including tax and customs incentives, the availability of skilled labor, and competitive production capacities, as well as the prospects for implementing joint investment projects.

During the discussions, issues related to strengthening bilateral cooperation in the textile industry, expanding trade volumes, and exchanging experiences were addressed.

This visit marked an important step in developing trade and economic ties between Uzbekistan and Pakistan, opening new opportunities for cooperation between the business communities of both countries.
