Uzbekistan Delegation Visits Leading Pakistani Company Hamid Leather

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation led by Akobir Tukhtaev, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, visited one of Pakistan’s leading leather goods manufacturers, Hamid Leather.

During the meeting, the company’s director, Muhammad Naseem, provided the delegation members with a detailed overview of the enterprise’s operations, its experience in international cooperation, and its export potential.

Founded in 1994, Hamid Leather specializes in processing sheep and cow leather and manufacturing leather products. The company produces 200,000 jackets and 80,000 bags annually, with a production volume of US$4 million. Notably, 100% of its products are exported.

The company exports to more than 16 countries, including Germany, Italy, South Korea, and the United States. It collaborates with prominent brands such as Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, and TK Maxx.

Hamid Leather holds international certifications including LWG Gold Rated, BSCI, and SLF. The enterprise employs over 800 staff members, adheres to environmental responsibility policies, and employs modern technological approaches.

During the visit, both sides discussed practical proposals for developing the leather industry in Uzbekistan, attracting foreign investment, and expanding bilateral cooperation.

Following the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed, establishing a legal and practical framework for implementing joint projects in the future.
