Uzbekistan Delegation Participates in Meeting of Legal Advisory Committee of CIS Foreign Ministries

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 11 June 2025, the 38th meeting of the Advisory Committee of Heads of Legal Services of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) was held in Dushanbe, within the framework of Tajikistan's chairmanship of the CIS, the CIS Executive Committee's press service reports.
The meeting was attended by heads and representatives of the legal departments of the foreign ministries of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, as well as officials from the CIS Executive Committee.
Participants discussed pressing issues of international legal cooperation within the CIS, as well as matters concerning the implementation of legal norms and practices.
A comprehensive exchange of views took place on key aspects of legal collaboration aimed at further strengthening the CIS’s treaty and legal framework and enhancing mechanisms for the implementation of adopted decisions.
