Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At a regular meeting of the republican special commission, the head of the Service for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health, Bakhodir Yusupaliyev, said that Uzbekistan currently has a stock of 18.3 million doses of vaccines against coronavirus.
- Since the beginning of the spread of coronavirus, 53.7 million doses of seven types of vaccines have been imported and produced in Uzbekistan to vaccinate the population, - said the head of the Service for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Bakhodir Yusupaliyev.
- Of these, 45 million doses have been used. In March, June and July of this year, 4 million more doses of Pfizer vaccine and 7.5 million doses of Moderna vaccine will be delivered. The number of people vaccinated in the country has reached 21.5 million. Of these, 19.6 million people received the first dose, and 15 million 400 thousand people received the second dose (fully vaccinated). 10 million 300 thousand people received a booster dose.
