Uzbekistan, Croatia discuss issues of expanding bilateral cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 27 April, the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction hosted a meeting of the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Ilkhom Norkulov with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Croatia to the Republic of Uzbekistan with residence in Nur-Sultan Refik Sabanovich.

The meeting was also attended by the Director of the Department for the Development of International Cooperation and Protocol Service Shukhrat Matkarimov and the head of the Department for Analysis and Forecasting of Foreign Economic Activity Erkin Majitov.

The agenda of the meeting included issues on the exchange of experience on ongoing reforms in both countries.

At the beginning of the meeting, both representatives presented information about current economic indicators and ongoing reforms. Possible ways of cooperation and expansion of existing joint projects were also discussed at the meeting.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to organize an online meeting with representatives of Croatia for an in-depth discussion of possible ways of cooperation and to develop mutually beneficial relations.
