Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Uzbekistan condemned another terrorist attach in Afghanistan. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan issued a statement.

"We strongly condemn the terrorist act committed on 2 September 2022 during Friday prayers at the Guzargokh mosque in the city of Herat, as a result of which there were numerous casualties and injuries among the civilian population, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

"Such violent actions provoke an escalation of tension and impede the establishment of sustainable and long-term peace, as well as national accord in Afghanistan," the press service of the Foreign Ministry said.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, and also wishes a speedy recovery to the injured.
