Uzbekistan commissions 5.06m square meters of habitation in 1H

In the first six months, lands for construction of individual houses were allocated and construction companies were selected for construction of houses within the programme on construction of individual of habitation on standard projects. In the past six months, 108 individual houses with total area of 15,400 square meters were commissioned.

Overall, Uzbekistan commissioned 5.06 million square meters of habitations in January-June 2013 (+4.2% year-on-year), of which 3.753 million square meters were constructed in rural areas (+3.1%).

In the reporting period, the country commissioned 1,503.6 km of water pipeline networks (+53.3%), including 1,357.5 km in rural areas (+56.9%).

Due to off-budget funds, Uzbekistan launched 48 new general educational schools, five professional colleges and their hostels for 100 beds, etc.
