Uzbekistan claims first victory under Vadim Abramov

Uzbekistan football national team recorded the first victory under coach Vadim Abramov on Tuesday, 12 October, defeating Bahrain in Manama.
Vadim Abramov side arrived in Manama from Jiddah, where they suffered 4-0 defeat in hand of Saudi Arabia. It is worth mention that Bahrain was always difficult side for Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan never scored in away matches against Bahrain.
Kyzylkum forward Olim Navkarov ended this negative tradition for Uzbekistan, opening the score in the fifth minute of the match. Pakhtakor’s striker Aleksander Geinrikh doubled the lead in the 12th minute.
Fayoz Mubarek opened the score for Bahrain in the 29th minute, while Pakhtakor captain scored Uzbekistan’s third goal 13 minutes later. Maksim Shatskikh was on target in added time for the first half of 2010.
In the second time, Hosain Salmon scored the last match of the match in the 53rd minute. The final match result is 4-2.
