Uzbekistan, China discuss upcoming contacts, SCO events

On 10 May 2016, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China Sun Lijie, the press service of the Uzbek foreign political body said.
The sides discussed topical issues of the Uzbek-Chinese agenda in the context of the upcoming bilateral events in Tashkent, as well as in the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, in which Uzbekistan is presiding currently.
