Uzbekistan, China discuss relations in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A delegation of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China led by deputy director of Department for Europe and Central Asia Su Fangqiu held negations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 14 May 2014.
The meeting was held within the regular bilateral consultations of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and China, the Uzbek ministry said.
During the talks, the sides considered interaction of two states within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, preparation to upcoming sessions of the SCO bodies, etc.
The sides also exchanged opinion on further development of the Uzbek-Chinese relations and schedule of upcoming contacts at various levels.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China Zhang Xiao attended the meeting.
