Uzbekistan changes the procedure for calculating the fee for the temporary import of foreign-made cars

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan has made changes to the procedure for calculating the fee for the temporary import of foreign-made cars.

Now, after the expiration of the period for complete exemption from customs duties and taxes, temporary import of foreign cars for a period of over 90 calendar days within one calendar year is allowed subject to payment of a fee in the amount of 1 basic calculated value (340 thousand soums) for each overdue day of export .

Previously, payment was provided in the amount of 0.7% of the basic estimated value (BV) for each horsepower of the vehicle for each overdue day of removal.
