Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce Participates in 6th Central Asia–Republic of Korea Business Council Meeting
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 3 December, the 6th meeting of the Central Asia–Republic of Korea Business Council was held under the forum secretariat “Korea–Central Asia” with the support of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA).
The main topic of the meeting was strengthening cooperation in the era of digital transformation and the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies.
Representing Uzbekistan, Alisher Shaykhov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, delivered a welcome address. He emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation between Korea and Central Asian countries in digital economy, innovative technologies, artificial intelligence, and logistics.
During the first session, Shaykhov presented key initiatives of both sides in digital transformation, e-commerce, digitization of business processes, smart infrastructure development, and digital solutions in industry.
Participants discussed measures to strengthen direct dialogue among entrepreneurs, organize joint seminars and forums, and develop cooperation between startups.
The meeting served as an important platform for establishing new partnerships, implementing innovative projects, and launching joint programs in the digital economy.
Both sides confirmed their readiness to expand collaboration in artificial intelligence, technology, and innovation, opening new opportunities for business and investment.
