Uzbekistan Boxing Federation Signs Memorandum with Asian Boxing to Boost Development
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan Boxing Federation and the Asian Boxing have signed a bilateral memorandum aimed at developing boxing in the country and integrating international expertise.
The agreement was signed during the visit of Asian Boxing President Pichai Chunhavjira, who came to Uzbekistan to participate in the 46th General Assembly of the Asian Olympic Council.
President Chunhavjira met with the First Deputy President of the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation and Vice President of Asian Boxing, Saken Polatov. During the talks, both sides discussed key areas of cooperation and agreed on priority tasks for the near future.
The memorandum outlines plans to establish modern boxing centers in every region, enhance professional training for athletes and referees, and implement advanced coaching methodologies.
Special emphasis is placed on attracting foreign trainers and experts, as well as organizing international training camps to improve the qualifications of local personnel.
