Uzbekistan Boosts Lemon Exports by 25%
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan significantly increased its lemon exports in 2025, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.
From January to November 2025, the country shipped 3,800 tons of lemons to international markets, totaling US$5.4 million. Compared with the same period last year, exports rose by 764 tons, reflecting a 25% increase.
The main destinations for Uzbek lemons were neighboring countries. Kazakhstan emerged as the largest importer, receiving 1,827 tons. Russia followed closely with 1,740 tons.
Other export markets included Kyrgyzstan with 236.5 tons, Belarus with 4.7 tons, and the United Arab Emirates with 3.8 tons. Approximately 3.9 tons were sent to other countries.
