Uzbekistan Begins Urea Exports to Europe via CASCA+ Corridor

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uztemiryulcontainer JSC has organized the shipment of a batch of urea in containers from the Sergeli logistics center to seaports in Italy, Greece, and Bulgaria, as part of the expansion of container transportation along the Uzbekistan–Europe route.

The train, consisting of 39 forty-foot containers, is moving through the CASCA+ transport corridor, transiting via the Georgian port of Poti.

The cargo will be delivered to the ports of Burgas (Bulgaria), Piraeus (Greece), Naples, and La Spezia (Italy). The average transit time is 25–30 days.

The implementation of this project opens up new opportunities for Uzbekistan’s export diversification, strengthens the country’s position in international markets, and contributes to the creation of efficient, secure, and competitive logistics routes for national products.
