Uzbekistan beats Yemen to qualify to AFC U-16 Championship

Today Timur Alimkhodjaev’s side claimed a 4-0 victory of Yemen in their second match of the qualification round of the AFC U-16 Championship.

Jonibek Kuchimov recorded brace. Maruf Jumayev and Shohruh Mahmudhodjaev were also on target for Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan collected six points after two matches in Group B and booked their place in the final stage of the AFC U-16 Championship. The tournament will be held in Thailand next year.

Uzbekistan clinched a 9-0 win over Palestine in the first match of the qualification round of the AFC U-16 Championship.
