Uzbekistan beats Oman, Japan in friendly matches
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan U-16 hosted two friendly matches against Oman and Japan at the end of last week.
Aleksei Evstafeev squad is holding preparation to the Asian U-16 Championship, which will be held in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent.
Uzbekistan faced Oman in the first match. Muhammad Abdullaev recorded double and Abbos Mahtsaliev scored the third goal of Uzbekistan in the match.
In the second match, Uzbekistan outplayed one of the strongest Asian teams – Japan. Abbos Mahtsaliev opened the score in the second minute, while Muhammad Abdullaev doubled the lead.
Minamino Takumi scored two goals to equalize the score. In the 83rd minute, Abbos Mahtsaliev scored the winner from the penalty.
Uzbekistan and Japan will hold another friendly match on 14 September 2010.
